"Kids Creative Lab " has already existed for four years, the educational project born in 2012 from the collaboration between the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and OVS, dedicated to all primary schools in Italy. The project has involved millions of children over the years, with creative workshops that are always original and stimulating.

This year 's edition, entitled C-ARTE, places "Kids Creative Lab " in Venice, where it all started, beating a new extraordinary record in terms of membership: 1 million children, 35.000 classes, 4.000 schools will bring their works to the lagoon, thanks to the prestigious collaboration of the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice, which will host the final exhibition of the project from 4 to 27 April, and the Municipality of Venice, which has given its patronage.

After having dealt with themes such as the relationship between art and fashion, ecology, nature, agriculture, food, biodiversity and sustainability during the past editions, this year a current and important theme was chosen: travel. Participants will test their creative flair in relation to the theme of travel. This is a stimulating design path that involves the use of simple tools, such as paper and scissors: this is where the title of this fourth edition of Kids Creative Lab, C-ARTE, is born.

The children involved in the project will receive, free of charge, an endowment of colorful paper. It will then be sufficient to follow the instructions contained in the "Artist Kit " created by the Education Department of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and distributed in OVS stores. Inspired by the work of artists who in their works represent travel, landscapes and migrations or who work with books and maps, the kit is an invitation to create a pop-up book that represents the landscape of the heart, a physical, real or imagined place. C-ARTE is an ideal journey that will bring children, teachers and parents to work together.

From 4 to 27 April the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice will host the final exhibition and also a series of creative workshops open to school groups, families and students, led by artists and personalities from the world of culture. You can find the calendar of appointments available on the kidscreativelab
